How this version processes your files and which connections it needs.

Service provider

The service is presented as VoxTexto at voxtexto.com. This version does not offer personalized email support.

Microphone recording

Recording requires your permission. Audio stays in memory on your device. Save, discard or transcribe it before closing. It is not sent to a server. Keep this page open during recording.

Recordings and transcripts

Your selected audio is read from your device. VoxTexto performs recognition, editing and document generation there. There is no VoxTexto server receiving recordings or storing a transcript history. Text and audio stay in session memory until you save or close them.

Model downloads

First use downloads recognition models and the engine from Hugging Face and its distribution network. Those providers receive download requests and normal connection information, but VoxTexto does not attach your recordings or transcript.

Website connections

Loading the site requires normal requests to its hosting provider, which may process technical connection logs. Local processing does not mean the website makes no network connections.

Local preferences and caches

The browser may cache application and model files. The theme and interface-language preferences may be saved locally. These are separate from recording storage; VoxTexto does not save an automatic audio history.

Advertising and analytics

Advertising and analytics are not enabled in this distribution. If this changes, the actual providers and relevant data use must be reflected in the published information.

Your control

Save the text you want to keep, clear a session when finished, and use your browser settings to manage local data. A downloaded document remains on your device until you remove it.
