Is it free?

This version is free to use without an account. Your device, internet connection and energy use are your responsibility.

Is audio uploaded?

VoxTexto processes audio and creates documents locally. It does not send recordings or transcripts to a recognition server. Model downloads from Hugging Face and its distribution network involve normal connection requests, without your audio attached.

Does it support every language?

The multilingual model has a defined set of supported languages, not every language in the world. Accuracy varies with language, voices and recording conditions.

Does English mode translate my audio?

No. Español / English changes the interface. Transcription follows the Audio language setting and keeps the spoken language. Select it manually if automatic detection chooses incorrectly.

Why two Spanish options?

Both use the same recognition model. The regional setting guides spell checking without converting vocabulary.

Why does it take time?

Processing uses your hardware. Model downloads, longer files and Higher accuracy take more resources. Try Fast or CPU mode if needed, and start with a short sample.

Can it work offline?

The installed interface can open offline after loading. Transcription also needs model and engine files downloaded first. Browsers can clear caches, so permanent offline availability is not guaranteed.

Can I use a phone?

Yes, with a supported browser and enough memory. Add the web app to your home screen and keep it open while transcribing.

Are edits saved automatically?

Text remains in the session without an automatic account history. Download before closing, reloading or starting over.

Does it record meetings?

The web version accepts audio files and microphone recordings. It does not join calls as a bot. The Windows desktop version can record system audio with optional microphone input.
