Use the tool with an understanding of its purpose and limits.

The service

VoxTexto lets you select audio, generate an automatic transcript locally, edit it and download it. This version is free to use. Continuous availability, performance on every device and exact recognition of every voice or language are not guaranteed.

Recording permissions

You must have the permissions required to process your selected recordings and respect other people's privacy. The tool does not grant rights to third-party content or make recordings freely distributable.

Review the result

The model may omit or invent words, or misread names, numbers and phrases. Listen and review before using or sharing the output. In sensitive medical, legal, academic or workplace contexts, unreviewed automatic output should not be treated as a faithful or certified record.

Technical limits

Files are limited to 60 minutes and 100 MB, with additional browser and device constraints. Extra component downloads and foreground processing may be necessary. PDF export for some writing systems uses page images and depends on device fonts; keep TXT or DOCX when you need selectable or editable text.

Keep your work

Session text is not stored in a VoxTexto account. Download it if you want to keep it.

Dependencies retain their own licenses. Mentioned brands belong to their owners and do not imply sponsorship or affiliation.

Changes

Features and limits may change. Relevant changes in behavior or data use must be reflected in the published information. These terms do not seek to exclude rights required by applicable law.
