Keep a simple note, an editable document, or a reviewed copy to share.

TXT: simple, reusable text

TXT preserves content without page formatting. Open it in a text editor or copy it into another app. VoxTexto uses UTF-8 to preserve accents and different writing systems. If an older app displays strange characters, check its encoding setting.

Word: keep editing

DOCX works with compatible word processors and is useful for adding headings, comments, speaker names or more detailed formatting. It preserves Unicode text; appearance depends on the fonts in the program opening it. Microsoft Word is not required to generate the file.

PDF: preserve page layout

PDF is useful for sharing a reviewed version. Text covered by the bundled font is selectable. For other writing systems, VoxTexto uses device fonts and turns pages into images to avoid missing characters.

In image-based PDFs, text cannot be selected or searched in the same way. Keep TXT or DOCX as well when you need accessibility, search or further editing.

Optional timestamps

Include timestamps to locate an interview answer or listen again. Omit them for continuous reading. Recognition timestamps are approximate and may not match every word's exact start.

Before downloading

Correct the text first: export uses the version in your session. Choose the format and confirm that saving has finished. VoxTexto does not retain an account copy; download your work before closing.
